Telus Optik in Canada
SO I've got a client that has 3 Telus Optik 4K boxes, 2 portals and a PVR. All three use the exact same remote. The 2 portals work just fine,no issues, the PVR won't accept 2 of the same command so typing in channel 422 gets you 42 unless I hit another button and then 2 again. Same with navigation, on the built in Netflix app if I go right, I have to go down or up before it will accept another right command yet if I use the guide, it navigates just fine. It is really frustrating. Any help or insight would be appreciated.?

Oh, I missed that, thanks. I just went back and read that email, and they have it buried - it's second from the bottom, in the NVX section :-)

Although that's a nice addition, it's not nearly as useful (in my opinion) as being able to intercept camera or other streams. --- On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:24 AM, Michael Fletcher wrote: |
Per the latest commercial product announcement they are releasing firmware with a thumbnail preview stream of NVX encoded content for use with touch panels. It will be 1 frame per second and exclude HDCP content.

By design, the NVX is a "closed" system, and only transmits or receives encrypted streams from other NVX units. However, several people have suggested adding the feature to allow decoding (ONLY) of unencrypted streams. I'm not sure how that would impact their security specs, but if necessary they could make such a box a separate SKU. Another great option would be to include a graphics engine like the DM-DGE-200-C. Someone (not at Crestron) told me they heard such a unit is in the pipeline, but I think both features are long overdue. --- On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 10:26 AM, Chris Horner wrote: |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWe tried to pump in H.264 cameras or streams into NvX and was told that you can't pump a H.264 direct to a NVX unit. Is this something new?
