I have a system that I have to connect to this device that is on the network, the manual says to use port 9761 but i look in the ip table and is not connecting.

If you want to use the MSPs you will need to use separate serials that are 255 or smaller. ?You could put the part that doesn¡¯t change
sendrf,1,8,1
in one called something like Header$ and the rest of it in another like Payload$.

You can connect them to the TX$ using serial buffers with the same serial signal name on the outputs.

You can also send strings larger than 255 by using direct sockets in simpl+

I need to take cost plan with sound masking installation QTPro series. I dont have time to get offer from Cambridge audio, and maybe some of you know what costs i need to take.

Can I take budget per meter, or maybe from pieces of speakers/zones?

Sound masking saystem is something new for me.

You can send it on 2 lines from an SIO. Use the same digital signal on both lines, and send the string in 2 parts.

IIRC, no there¡¯s no way to talk to the console directly in S+, You¡¯d need to use a console symbol in SIMPL and pass that to SIMPL+.

You¡¯re probably getting the redirect because in the latest 3 series firmware, they shut down CTP.

I got a different module to actually work for me. It was from another program that someone else had sent me for a different project. The problem I was having with being able to use that Module before is that when I put it in my User Database or in the project folder so I could implement it into my project it wouldn't show up in the symbol library. So to rectify this I just opened both programs and copy/pasted it from one to the other. Now I just need to find out how to get my login to work on the camera. Thank you all for the help on this.

That sounds like what I would do.? The way Smart Graphics handles a vector based button is completely ridiculous and a memory hog.

If you create a single subpage with a fully built microphone button/indicator on it, then put it on one page 400 times, then it's still only a single button.? It should handle it a lot better.

Not sure how you fit that many buttons on a page.? If it's just an 'indicator', then it may not be an issue.

For grins and giggles I put in a standard advanced button.? 48x48 pixels, and I put it on a subpage, then put it on a full page 360 times.? So, 360 buttons from a single subpage reference.

I then took that same button and put it into a single page.? Same deal.? 15 rows of 24 buttons to make it 360 buttons on the page.? The two different projects now looked identical.? One with all subpages, the other with all buttons.

The project which has the subpage references 360 times produced a file that is 16,784KB.? The file which used the actual button repeated 360 times is 43,744KB.? Well over twice the file size.

If that memory path follows through to a panel, then you shouldn't have the same issues as you have a lot less memory used for a single page.
AirMedia2/AM-200 Testimonials

 

Hi All,

We have a client that is interested in using AM-200 units in almost all of their conference rooms as the primary method of connecting laptops in the room to the display. They have a demo unit but have asked us if we have any testimonials from currently installed customers as to the performance of AirMedia2. In short - we don't. We have a couple installs out there of the AirMedia integrated DMPS, but those customers don't seem to use it enough to have an opinion on it.

So... do any of you guys have customers with an active AirMedia2 install base which might be willing to offer a few words to another customer about their experiences?

Legrand MR232?

 

Anyone have experience with the Legrand MR232?? Connect with Termie and control it no problem, go through a CP3N and get nothing back except the last 2 or 3 digits of whatever command I send it. Put in the Crestron Module and get FB that says invalid entry (because as far as I can tell the module has no way to tell what # room it is in), but Preset 11 that is default for "All Off" works. Try to edit the user module in SIMPL+ and it is password protected..... looking for any advice before I throw it across the room.
