Re: cresnet to Ethernet interface

Don't be silly. You just need the other version, made by AudioQuest, which has the carbon-based 3-Layer noise dissipation system.

Re: Help with WOL with Pinglogic module

I made the changes as per crestron-programmers suggestion.? I also changed the pc to have a dhcp assigned ip address.

Re: cresnet to Ethernet interface

So, I guess you'd need the other version of that adapter if you wanted to get feedback *from* the control system?

Re: Prowl For 3 Series

I have confirmed that the latest 3 series firmware: 1.500.0013 have broke the module.

In combination with the latest databases:

Device Database: 71.05.004.00
Crestron Database: ?54.00.012.00

Though I am not familiar with the SIMPL# portion of this module, I suspect the issue lies there. This firmware includes many features and resolutions regarding?SIMPL#.

Control of Zoom App running on Mac Mini

Has anyone controlled a Zoom App on a Mac Mini? I have a need to replicate the Zoom app inside a Crestron UI.

Re: Polycom Realpresence Group series

Hello,

I am having this exact issue. Would you be willing to share the code for address book search?

Thanks

Re: Polycom Realpresence Group series

Anthony,

I am having a similar issue with pulling contacts from the client's directory. It will only recover about 15 units on the directory vs. the hundred or so they have. Have you had any luck with this?

Thanks

Jaime

Re: CEN-NSP1

I'm having a similar problem getting SiriusXM Online working with a 2 series processor.

I have entered the username and password in the Web GUI for the NSP however I can see in Simpl Debugger that when I select SiriusXM as a source it is prompting for it again. Nearest I can tell there is no way to enter this without Smart Graphics and a 3 Series Processor. I have tried sending it through the keyboard txt input however it appears to do nothing and no response is received from the keyboard txt feedback either.

Any suggestions?

Re: New Programmer

I think you're confusing the CP2 with the CP2e. The CP2 has no Ethernet port so XPanel isn't going to work.

Re: New Programmer

That'd be hard since the CP2 doesn't have an ethernet port.

Re: Wire control of Haivision Stingray2?

After reading into it a bit more, it doesn't appear we have to strip the carrier with a direct connection...the 3.5mm IR receiver jack is expecting a modulated signal as it doesn't get demodulated until it hits the circuit board inside the Stingray, so it should take a direct connection from the CP3 with just the signal and ground wires connected (disregarding the VCC connection)...but it doesn't work even though Haivision thinks it should (but doesn't have any documentation yea or nay on actually trying it).

Thanks,
Jeff

Do you need to strip out the 38(?)kHz IR carrier if you're plugging directly into the unit?

No idea. We've tried every combination of wiring after the diagram Haivision gave us for a 3.5mm TRS to IR bud didn't work (even though it was an IR bud cable diagram, it identified signal, VCC and ground connections).
I've got an email back into Haivision, so hopefully their engineers can have some input, but the IPTV set top boxes aren't made by them (OEM from China), so it's always been difficult getting any modifications or detailed info.

Re: Marantz M-CR611

I've found with Marantz, if it has an RJ45 connector, it's controllable. It could very well be Crestron Connected.?
