USB Connection Issues in Toolbox
Has anyone seen issues connecting to processors with USB before.? I get a "USB Device Not Recognized" error from windows when I plug in the cable.? Device manager shows an "Unknown Device". I've tried rebooting my laptop, rebooting the DMPS3, trying a different USB cable.? I've updated Toolbox to the latest version on this machine, and still no go.? I've even tried updating USB driver from within Windows Device Manager with no luck.? This computer is a Win7 Pro 64x machine (i7 w/ 16GB ram).? Never had problems until the last couple months and have seen this problem twice at least, both times with a DMPS3.? Not sure if other processors give the same problem or not.? I have not had USB issues with any other hardware with this laptop. Meanwhile, I have a mini 12" laptop running Win8 that has the same version of toolbox that can connect to it with USB without any problems. Any ideas? -jason

The last one released for Denon Electronics AVR-3313CI is what I used for RS232, tried for TCP/IP as explained. I have never tried the Crestron AVR Connected integration due to what I have read here and I like to stay away from the head-banging-into-wall scenario.Go Marantz if you need to connect TCP/IP and stay in the D/M family of products.? I have added to the last Marantz SR module from the Application Market for current inputs, etc.JUST remember use a Crestron CLW-EX outlet or Panamax product with Bluebolt to cycle power of the receiver at night a few times a week¡or relay controlled outlet, whatever your preference. Dig into the manual.? You're fortunate that Extron products are highly controllable with decent protocols, so that's a good place to start.? If you have a specific question, feel free to ask it here.

Sorry missed that part, are you using version 1.1 of the module? The TX should always work, the response is what I read you didn't have 6s+, please excuse typos.

We just had one on a job and it never connected TCP/IP client, could get to it on a web browser just fine, control through web browser just fine, just not with Crestron CP3, wired to rs232 and all worked fine, left it that way for this application, and after reading other issues here, I chalked it up to something that wouldn't get fixed anytime soon
?all our Marantz jobs have been fine with Crestron, sometimes needing a power cycle, including my own home, to stay connected 6s+, please excuse typos.

Any luck getting the codes to work? I had to stab at codes to get a dvi input code and the tile codes aren't adding up.

I asked Crestron for the files awhile back. To stop the default ring, type SIPDEFAULTRING OFF in console. To ring your own files you'll have to drive them with either reserved or assignable joins in VT-Pro.

Have you tried a new IT-100? ?This is our setup of choice and the few times this has happened to us, it's been the it-100? 6s+, please excuse typos.

You probably need to plug in the video cable to a TV to see the network settings. Definitely need a TCP/IP client, IP, as well as the port (probably 23). Good luck!

I would like to use the Ethernet port on the back of my AVR4806 for control.? Here is my question...
Do I need to set an IP address in the TC/IP client, I am sure that I do :)?? If so, does anyone know how to access the network settings inside the AVR4806?? I do not know the IP address assigned to the unit when I connected it to my router.? I am striking out all over the place.?
This is the only thing I can find on the 4806 beside the manual.? The manual looks like the network manual is only on the 58 series.
