Re: Off Topic: TV Tuners
Do you really need PAL (standard def analog) or do you need DVB-T/DVB-T2 (the most-of-the-rest-of-the-world* answer to North America's ATSC/HD/SD digital broadcasting)?

I don't really have an answer for you either way but if you're looking for true PAL it's not going to look much better than composite anyway, on the other hand if you need one of the DVB equivalents make sure you're looking for DVB support. *- Major exceptions include most of South America/Japan, using ISDB-T; and China, using DTMB -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D Commercial Market Director Sr. Systems Architect | Crestron Certified Master Programmer (Gold) ControlWorks Consulting, LLC V: 440.449.1100 x1107 F: 440-449-1106 I: Crestron Services Provider | Biamp Audia Certified | Extron Authorized Programmer -----Original Message-----

Re: IOS Today in Crestron App
Yeah, it works great for feedback for me, but I can't get any presses to work. I posted about it on Labs and they're looking into it for me. I have a feeling it's probably only an issue with 2-series and I wouldn't be surprised if it stays that way since 2-series don't fully support Smart Graphics. It would be nice, but I can deal with just feedback if I have to.

Re: Adding a PYNG hub to an existing Crestron system?
The pyng triggers I put in my PMC3 program are showing up on the pyng app, now I just need?to move some of my working logic over to test it.??? On Monday, January 18, 2016 8:17 AM, "f douglas cavsfan198023@... [Crestron]" wrote:

Essentially treat the pyng system as you would a Smart Media object. ?There are a couple of modules- (Pyng connection Configuration, and CRPC Serial Client Interface) and they connect to the smart object imported from VTproe. ?Other than that, not much to it. ?You don't get a lot of freedom in the GUI design, but the trade-off is the ease of integration. ?It was a pretty simple matter to acquire the tstats I was using, pretty much just like any infinet setup, just through the pyng interface. ?I'm not sure which processors support the pyng hub, but If the modules drop into your program, then it will work. |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI finally got "something" working here; all I'm using it for right now is to display the average temperature of my house based on all of the thermostats installed. ?Currently, I am only displaying the thermometer icon and "Average: xx". ?I haven't done anything with the "presses" yet. I'm viewing it more of using it as a "system state at a glance" more than something I would interact with; such as, is the alarm system armed? ?Are all of the doors locked? ?Are all of the lights off? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYeah, actually I'm still having some issues on my home AV2. Icons now show up in Notification Center, but pressing doesn't seem to do anything. No "local" feedback on the phone or anything showing up in debugger. Haven't done much more troubleshooting yet, but I'll let you know if I get it working. On Jan 13, 2016, at 9:38 AM, steve@... Re: New smart graphics update problems
Andrew Welker
Usually when there is a SG update, the app gets updated as well. Did you check in the app store for an update to the Crestron app?
