It is the TV causing that. Some consumer TV's lag on the video processing. I could not figure out a way to correct. Just use a different model next time.

The protocol which you can download from their website is very straightforward.

I've never bothered creating a module because I have only used them as a basic endpoint. If you need help along the way let me know.

I'm looking for it now and can't find it either.

Try putting the display into gaming mode or something similar. Most modern displays have a refresh rate that is much higher than the frame rate of the incoming video. This causes some of the processing that TB mentioned. It might not get rid of all the lag, but it might improve it greatly.

The customer is using the 70 inch display as their local monitor and is saying there is lag in the mouse when working. I have noticed the lag (mili-seconds) and TB claims this is normal video processing and no settings will correct the lag. Maximum cable run is probably 75' of DM cable.

Has anyone seen this before or know of a setting that might correct the lag??

Just trying to explore options.

Tesira is the same concept except you get to create your own subscription name for feedback :).?

Just use Instance ID Tags instead of the DSP assigned tags. Then as long as the control gets the correct instance ID tag, then it'll work no matter what the instance ID is. I don't remember the last time I used the assigned instance id.

I Like Polycom SS, never had any issues.

I Love Clearone, from a control standpoint. Its nice to get realtime feedback and if you use Macros for control, it can be a rock solid solution. Just deployed about 50 of these in the summer with no issues or calls. Techs can go in after and tweak input/output/mixer levels and adjust a macro for even more control and it never effects the integrated controls. I actually have a standard DSP that can be loaded into a 840T and 880T. Started using Processing buss A, B, C, & D, Faders 1, 2, 3, & 4. This way if the job has a need for more than 8 sets of controls or levels to be tracked, I have the engineer make sure the system adds the 880T which allows for more processing. ?

Re: AV2 and Rack2

Use the AV2 as the master, then drop a RACK2 in your crestnet devices as a Crestnet slave since you have no E-NET card. In the Rack2 info view in toolbox, you'll see where it has a Crestnet ID of "2". You need to change that to some other Crestnet ID (3 or higher) and it will show up on your AV2 crestnet network.

Goodluck,

Cyberbri

Sony evi-d camera processor

So I was working with a VDO360 camera last week. There is a published crestron module on their website that I tried to use-It did not work well and zoom in and out did not work at all. So tried a different sony module (it uses sony visca protocol) the zoom also did not work on that module.I modified the module allowing for simple zoom in and out cause I had a lot of stuff to do as the install was out of the country and time was limited. When I got back I dug in a little bit and found that for zoom in and out the strings being sent to the cam for zoom were wrong

good example \x81\x01\x04\x07\x02\xFF this would indeed zoom in

bad string from modules??\x81\x01\x04\x07$\xFF?

? so for that last hex the module spits out ascii

it looks to me like the problem lies in the simpl+ module "sony EVI-D camera processor" ?all the modules including the published vdo360 have this simpl+ in common

has anyone encountered this before? maybe some simpl+ gurus can see why this happens.

I believe it occurs in the zoom speed section of the processor but it is not obvious to me where the error lies
