IE Problems with DGE-1/V12

mattguilbert

I have a dozen DGE-1s on the B port of a C2ENET-2. IE slowly loads some of the content on webpages, and then stops as if it is done. Crestron has no idea why. Does anyone happen to have any advice? Thanks!

Is there documentation on how to poll a dd-wrt router?

Possible with ubiquiti UniFi wifi system.
Not sure if standard ap would give you an option to get the necessary data.
Also, you could use dd-wrt router and poll it for dhcp leases to match your desired mac address.

Interested in making a phone that uses wifi into an RFID tag such that the crestron processor can poll IP addresses on the network and determine if myself or my wife is home based on whether or not our phones are connected to the in house wifi.

Is it possible? has anyone done it? I imagine if it was done, it was probably through simpl+??

+1. My 2007 46" Sharp doesn't blink at 1080p60 over component. The 46" JVC I bought a year or so back, not so much. But it *does* support 1080p30 on HDMI, which the Sharp doesn't. Go figure.

Re: Crestron Certification.....????

Yeah I am having that same issue right now.

It certainly would seem that Crestron needs to work on their communications more than a little bit. I submitted my entrance exam for admission to programming for cert and waited 5 days with no reply back. I called Erin multiple times with no reply. I emailed and called Lisa with no reply. Finally, after re-sending my attachment to our local sales rep I got a call from the local CTI saying the email was blocked due to my attachment. So my original email to trining@... was filtered out and noone notified me. Awesome internal communication procedure FAIL! Thanks to this I have to wait until the end of year for cert.

For me, the knowledge that I was 'certified' was enough, it's not something we've needed for bids as of yet, so I wasn't in too much rush... as evidenced by the 3 years since the cert class and now.

Their distributor in Germany lists the GC100 template on the web site which is similar in functionality to the separate devices.

Maybe get the API docs from GC site as well.

I used some IP2IRs in the past as "Show Me" button inputs with LED feedback but never send actual IR through them.

If you take Samsung's control software and run it through a QM-RMC it's pretty easy to get whatever code you want out of it. It follows the rules outlined in their API and the checksums are pretty easy to calculate as well.

For example, this string tells the top right monitor to go into video wall mode in a 2x2 wall: \xAA\x89\x01\x02"\x01\xAF and this is the top left: \xAA\x89\x02\x02"\x02\xB1 and you can probably work it on out from there.
