Re: Non-HDCP Compliant Monitor ??

+1. My 2007 46" Sharp doesn't blink at 1080p60 over component. The 46" JVC I bought a year or so back, not so much. But it *does* support 1080p30 on HDMI, which the Sharp doesn't. Go figure.

My Sharp LC-52D82U does it as did many Sharp consumer displays and a few
Sony's.

That's how I run my gen 1 xBox 360 at 1080p.

Your last statement is not entirely true. the HDFury WILL output 1080p via
component. HOWEVER, your display needs to support 1080p via component and
that is less likely. I've seen more than a few high end projectors do it
though.

It takes your HDMI signal and converts to component. Will save you in a
bind but no 1080p picture quality.

You might be thinking of the "HD Fury" adapter...

A while back someone suggested a device to show HDCP compliant

Any suggestions?
