Re: Android APP ETA

Okay, finally got it to work. I think it was the "Room ID", which I had previously left blank. But I'm not sure why that would cause an "invalid credentials" error. Anyway, it still has a way to go, but at least it's a start...

There are some small scaling differences here and there, but so far not bad.
RAVA SIP and notification widget is what I am writing in my letter to Mr. Claus
this year. Fingers crossed, but I have feeling the widget will not make it. It
is convenient to use it from the lock screen (for basic play/pause/mute etc)

i just took a peak & almost all the processors i monitor are offline. All say this occurred 4 months ago for each of them. Quite a coincidence i would say.
Anyone else seen this??

Re: Android APP ETA

I got this to work on my Pixel 4 on multiple sites.? Yes there are limits but overall it seems to work.? I was a bit confused by no cost for the app or via an "upgrade".? Hopefully it stays at no cost, it's the least they could do after taking so long to support Android.? I'm getting tired of the look on clients faces when I tell them the app costs $100+

Re: Managing Inputs without Discreet Commands (IR)

Thanks MichaelR.? I appreciate that discrete is best and I've reached out to the manufacturer but that solution is more what I'm trying to achieve.
I'm just starting out in Crestron World despite a long time supporting AV in general (I think I worked with you some when I was a Support Eng with Kscape.)

Re: Android APP ETA

i have had the beta for about a month now - Pixel 8 Pro
it works with all the restrictions mentioned above
afraid to update to the official version

Re: Android APP ETA

Thanks for the link!

However, as someone else mentioned, it's very sparse on details - and rife with spelling errors :-)

Good news: Crestron Go for Android is finally in the Play Store.

Bad news: I can't get it to work on my phone (Pixel 8 Pro), so can't tell any clients about it yet ?

It seems like there are some things missing - only one option in Settings, doesn't mention cost or in-app purchase, etc.? Has anyone gotten it to work???

Re: Sony Bravia IP Launch App

Thanks guys for your recommendations.??

It came down to not having the \n inside, at the end of the message and also I had to split it up into two lines on the SIO.? But it works now.

Re: Media Player Sonos Favorites for Spotify

I just went through this today and hadn't seen this topic. Would have saved me some troubleshooting time

Most of the above is covered in the release notes. Pretty shoddy release really.
Where are the release notes? Checked Play store, communities.crestron.com...what am I missing?

Didn't make it all.? Next load they went fine.? Chalking it up as a fluke

Edited

You can use the certified driver as well.? You need to enable both the password and simple IP control.? I'll post an example that I was testing.

Re: Xantech MRAUDIO8x8

I just emailed you an old module for the MRC88, which I think uses the same protocol.

Re: Android APP ETA

Since I'm rolling a MC3 in the shop, do I have to enable security to use this app?
