He has a running 8x. I have been working around the System Builder program for 5 years because he didn't have a copy.?

I set up an iPad for him and told him if the 8x goes- it's gone but if you want to accept his offer let me know.?

Re: NVX to AVR woes

I had this happen a few times over the past few months. Some had NVX others didn't. We found by replacing the balun it fixed our issues. I can't remember what balun we were using, but I think it was the AC-EX70-UHD-kit. I will try to verify on Monday as we have a few sitting on the shelf now that we removed them. We replaced them with the AC-EX70-444-kit and it worked.

Re: Andriod TV control

I have some progress with ADB, I managed to connect to my Andriod TV via ADB (Andriod Debug Bridge), that's easy.

?
adb shell input keyevent 3 (home)
adb shell input keyevent 22 (right key)
adb shell input keyevent 21 (left key)
... etc
?
Now how do I turn this shell commands into Crestron code? Any help will be very much appreciated!

Global Cache for sale

I've got an GC iTach IP2SL and GC iTach IP2IR for sale. Both are brand new never used (but open box).
If anyone is interested please let me know.

Re: Sonos Beam Crestron AV integration

These ones should work:?

Re: B&O Beovision Harmony

OK the IP address was probably my problem.? I wasn't present for the setup of the B&O and I don't know where the IP address of the soundbar is located.? I'll obviously want to set it static either directly or via a DHCP reservation.

Thanks for the notes.

Re: VC-4 & Sonos

Since I was in a hurry, I opened all the ports except the one for Spotify Connect and System updates.

That¡¯s very interesting could you share those IR commands? Thanks?

Re: Repeat IR Commands #simplwindows

I normally use serial on Samsung Art TV's. On the ones that I have to use IR, I use the discrete power commands to power the TV on and off. I then use the power toggle to enter art mode.

Re: NVX to AVR woes

Edited

You may want to try an EDID minder between the NVX and the AVR, that has solved similar past situations I have been involved with. (But certainly go through the troubleshooting steps to see if the stream is ending at the AVR or if it is somewhere else down the line.)

Re: Sonos Beam Crestron AV integration

From a network pentesters pov is it possible to raw replay packets from the crestron side now.

Aka capture and send by sniffing the app

In past scenario's where we have needed to switch to a line input on the Sonos Port, I've been able to get round the Crestron source switching by adding the Line-Input to Sonos Favorite's. This kludge does work as long as the user does not remove the Line-input from Favourits.

I was hoping to use a similar approach for the HDMI switching on the Beam but there is simply no way to add the TV to Favourites.?

The situation I have:
> User selects a video source, TV turns on and sound from the TV is played back through eARC on the Beam. Lovely jubbly.

Has anyone had to deal with this situation? If so what work-arounds do you use?

An analog increment limited to the range of the stat plus a delay on the send input did the trick. A two digit analog is what its looking for.

Thanks Jay, this works great.

Re: B&O Beovision Harmony

Hi Jim

Yes, we have integrated a Harmony with Crestron. There is a Crestron module available to download from B&O that works very well. You just have to be careful to use the IP address of the sound bar and not the LG panel that is shown when you view the IP config on the TV.

The module is available to download on the B&O 3rd party integration website. Just google B&O Crestron module. It gives you true power and source selection FB etc etc.

Let me know if you need any further info. We¡¯re also B&O dealers which helps!

Regards

Justyn

?And I thought I'd never have to work with B&O again.

So a client just had this land at their house and the guy that came out and set it up said "sure it integrates with Crestron, no problem".? He then left and isn't returning calls.

I'm contacting B&O, but before I go through all of that does anyone have experience integrating with a Beovision Harmony display?? It's an LG OLED with B&O speakers on the front that fold out when it's turned on.? Think murderous android peacock.

I did find some integration code on the B&O support site, but it's fairly generic and the sample code didn't work for me.

TIA,
Jim??
