Disregard the weirdness with the '<' and '>' - in a bout of "I can't believe I trusted the installer", I found that 2 cables had different labels on both ends.

I know you found the solution now. We had the same problem with an older CP3, so managed to swap this out to get a newer CP3 that does not require a Lutron license. We found it an ongoing ball ache when testing.

yeah i noticed it wouldn't compile anything at all in any \\mac directories too so i moved it over to an x86 directory and then at least i could compile a program with a single buffer in it. just no simpl+.

anyhow, i got it fixed. the issue was the .net framework that crestron was installing. i was using master installer and then i tried using the one from answer id 1001084 and it seemed to install fine but i guess that one is problematic too. but as soon as i downloaded from microsoft it started working. so there's your answer to anyone who has this issue. don't use the .net framework that crestron installs on an m1.

In order to get simplwin to compile properly on my macbook (intel)/Parallels I had to map my shared \\mac drives to a drive letter in windows. ?I could not succeed using "Map Network Drive" in file explorer, I had to do it using admin command prompt and the SUBST command. ?works flawlessly. ?I have multiple VMs so I put things like databases on the mac.

An example:?
subst q: \\mac\home\desktop\crestron

Then in simplwin preferences I reference the mapped drive.
Location for User Simpl+ Modules
Q:\Usrsplus?

i have a coworkers macbook with the same m1 processor here. works fine. i can't find the exact build of windows that it's running so that's the only difference i can find. i've tried a few different versions of windows and all crash. i can't imagine that there's only one specific build of windows that magically works. i used master installer to install everything. i've also tried manually installing. it seems like it's a cross compiler issue but i don't know how to test that theory.

I suspect the new SDK-CD product page is the new place to obtain the latest versions; the developer site's "Resources" section will probably point to that page in the future.

The SDK-CD Release Notes appear to be hosted online, available from the download page (similar to FW Release Notes).

If you are using default credentials for Lutron you need to create a new telnet user. Lutron has blocked the old lutron:lutron in newer firmware.

Rob, the temp/humidity issues have probably contributed to some of our past failures. We do the majority of our business regionally in the Southeast US. So outdoor temperatures and humidity in some locations might hit the thresholds you mentioned at times without being trapped in a water-tight compartment. We have had some issues with fiber HDMIs as well, but that probably deserves more consideration. I tend to agree that using built-in HDBaseT is the better play.

Our experience at is that creating interfaces in HTML is a major undertaking. Here's a video of our interface running on the CrestronOne app?. Technically you can run it on a browser but at this point it's more for dev work.
We are going to launch this as a product for other CSPs or Integrators to license. We've designed it so it runs hosted on a 4-Series processor and can communicate to any SIMPL program through an EIC. The idea is that anyone can export the signals to integrate to the HTML interface.
We are also planning to offer design a front end dev. services if our Framework doesn't fit your needs.?

Check the specs for the temperature/humidity parameters. I haven't found many that state they'll work above 104 degrees F or 95% humidity (non-condensing).

If you can get an outdoor-rated TV with a built-in HDBT receiver, that will be your best bet as the receiver will get proper thermal management from the display. If you stick another receiver in the water-tight compartment, it may be baking itself to death.

Other than that, we've seen a lot of cheaply made power supply issues with certain manufacturers.

Edit: otherwise, mount the RX side in a climate-controlled environment and use an HDMI cable of appropriate length through the wall OR just use a fiber HDMI cable.

Has anything funky happened recently with QS.

I have a Lutron program that was originally written back in March 2021 in Lutron Designer 15.8.1?and the simpl program was written at the same time.
Tested and all working back then.

I've taken the same Lutron program and loaded that to a new LQP6-2 (modified in Lutron Designer 15.10.1 today to add a secondary processor and some 3rd party HVAC)
The same simpl program, only modified with the IP address of the new QS processor loaded to one of our test CP3's.

All devices are pingable on the network but the Lutron cannot be pinged from the CP3.
Now I'm pretty sure back in the bad ol' days a Lutron License was required for the processor and then Lutron was pingable but I'm sure that no longer applies.

It simply will not connect, telnet login details are the same. Only thing that is different are the IP addresses but as stated these have been updated in the relevant programs.

The system is not connected to the internet and was not when first set up. I'm loosing a lot of hair over this with a lot of head scratching (and I did not have much to begin with)
Lutron IP client connect status just rolls round 1,3 as it attempts to connect.

The AV Pro Edge is proprietary compression and will not work with any
other receiver. The RX side fits in a Samsung Terrace. Thin HDMI
recommended.

We're trying to get away from that by using just the transmitter end and
