+1. My 2007 46" Sharp doesn't blink at 1080p60 over component. The 46" JVC I bought a year or so back, not so much. But it *does* support 1080p30 on HDMI, which the Sharp doesn't. Go figure.

I've been trying to reach Erin for over a week, too, on an unrelated matter. She's usually pretty good about responding, so I'm guessing it has to do with what Nathan said. I'd say just keep trying and hopefully as the dust settles a bit, she'll be able to start returning calls.

Re: Crestron Certification.....????
Yeah I am having that same issue right now.
It certainly would seem that Crestron needs to work on their communications more than a little bit. I submitted my entrance exam for admission to programming for cert and waited 5 days with no reply back. I called Erin multiple times with no reply. I emailed and called Lisa with no reply. Finally, after re-sending my attachment to our local sales rep I got a call from the local CTI saying the email was blocked due to my attachment. So my original email to trining@... was filtered out and noone notified me. Awesome internal communication procedure FAIL! Thanks to this I have to wait until the end of year for cert. As other people said, she's probably in the heat of Master's paperwork. For me, the knowledge that I was 'certified' was enough, it's not something we've needed for bids as of yet, so I wasn't in too much rush... as evidenced by the 3 years since the cert class and now.[Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
Re: Serialize Time
Again, there is a Serialize Time module in the files section from a year and a half ago. No offense but you people need to do some research before posting for modules. I see it all the time.

So I passed my cert exam...cool. Took D3 and have tried to find out what the next step is to get the actual certification "piece of paper". Email, after email, after email, still no answer from Erin. Oh yeah, phone calls? Straight to voicemail for a week. Anyone else have this much trouble getting answers or is it just me? Seems they are extremely disorganized and could care less when someone puts months into classes and test projects for their glorified CTI. Sorry for the rant, just thought the hard part of the certification process was over. |
Re: Crestron Certification.....????
Thank you for the replies, and the congrats. Its funny you mention getting my rep involved, That is how I got them to finally check my test programs after waiting 3 1/2 months for results *sigh*.

Their distributor in Germany lists the GC100 template on the web site which is similar in functionality to the separate devices.

Maybe get the API docs from GC site as well. I used some IP2IRs in the past as "Show Me" button inputs with LED feedback but never send actual IR through them. Cheers Chris Horn --- In Crestron@..., "stainbow1" <stainbow1@...> wrote:

There is a PJLink module on crestron's site. While it is over-bloated, you can use that for a starting point.

Does anyone have a module for this? i'm wanting to use an IP2IR in a job where I have wireless or through a Sonos Bridge Wired ethernet, and just need a couple remote IR Ports. I thought this would work perfect, but I can't seem to find a module that I thought existed a couple years back.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks Stephen D. |
