Re: Question about Crestron Mobile panels....
?I've seen a couple of cases where I had to uninstall the mobile G app from the iPad and reinstall it before it would update the project file.? Seems to be dependent on the model number of the iPad where some update automatically and others do not. Apparently something gets corrupted in the app and you just have to delete the app and reinstall.? |

Re: Sony STR-AZ3000ES Integration
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýSony has two different protocols.? One is called CIS-IP1, used for the Sony STR-ZA3000ES module, connects on 33335.? This command set is also used for RS-232.? It is also used for the STR-DA5600ES and STR-DA1800ES modules. ? There is also CIS-IP2, the one done in JSON (using Simpl#) for the STR-ZAxx module, which connects on 33336.? This one is only IP. ? The first AZ5000 I had to do was a replacement of a ZA5000 that was controlled with the DA5600ES module.? The AZ5000 ignored the existing programming and I had to rewrite the program to use the ZAxx module, which is a quite different from the older ones. ? As far as I had experienced, the AZ would not respond to the CIS-IP1 protocol.? But, I only did one of those and it was on initial release firmware, so maybe Sony has changed the firmware to include CIS-IP1 since then. ? It is strange, but not surprising, that a company that represents a strong custom integration commitment such as Sony does, would screw up the launch of a new AVR series with a couple simple mistakes like not allowing the unit to be powered up using the Web UI, or putting the terms out of order for the volume feedback.? I wonder what else they did . . .? Will it still come out of standby to an input command? ? From: <[email protected]> on behalf of ckangis <chris@...> ? When you say 33336 works, do you mean that the TCP client is connected? |

Re: Anyone noticing slowdowns/failures in loading to 4-series processors lately?
I had ranted about this issue on another forum, and got a most useful tip.? Unregister the program first, then kill it.? Uploads haven't failed me since.? So:
progreg -p:1 -u killprog -p:1 I do this through a Text Console session, and then use the Quick Function button (or Alt+P) to load the program. Of course, the regular transfer dialog should do all this, but it doesn't. |

Re: Vantage InFusion Communications
I had one system where the Crestron TCP client went offline for some reason and just stopped trying to reconnect. even with a toggle on the connect input.
Had to restart the program (or reboot the proc, can't remember which) and then we updated the FW. Haven't see this issue since... It was ~2 years ago... |
TSW-1070 IP Table Offline
Have setup hundreds of these things, same process every time.? I have a fresh install here, haven't even loaded a project to the panel.? Hell, it is still on DHCP.? CP4 is static IP addressed and the program is loaded.? All other TSW-1070 panels are showing online, but 1 is flat out refusing to go OnLine (like how I spelled that?)
So far I have tried the following: - Pinged the processor from the panel and pings fine. - Remap the IPID to a unit that is working.? Does not show online at that IPID either (yes, I took the other working panel IP Table off). - Setcsauthentication on the device just in case something weird is going on. - Restored and initialized to default. - Downgraded firmware on both the CP4 and TSW-1070 to one version prior. Nothing seems to be correcting this.? Could this be just a bad panel?? Anyone have any thoughts/ideas to try? |
