Hi
Thorsten,
For
some reason I never uploaded this version to my GitHub.?
It has been so long ago that I can't remember why but we
should start debugging with the latest I worked on.
Here
is a link where you can download this new version.?
This
is the compiled.zip of the demo program so you can extract
the v1.5 s+ module along with the Sensibo_Air.clz file.?
Make sure you replace your existing Sensibo_Air.clz with
the new one from the compiled.zip
Now
please send me the messages captured in text console as I
described below along with any relevant messages that show
up in the error log when the program crashes.
Thanks
Jay

Hi Thorsten,
It has been over a year since I
touched that code but I'm not aware of anything that
could be causing the problem you describe.? Couple of
things.
1) Are you using v1.5 of the
Sensibo Air Module?
2) Please change the
Debug_Msg_Output parameter to "Console".? This causes
the code to write all kinds of debugging information to
the text console.
3) upload the program to your
processor and wait for the program to enter a steady
state after all the program initialization steps have
completed.
4) Open up a toolbox text
console window and perform the actions to duplicate the
problem.
5) Copy all the messages sent
to the text console window into an email and send that
to me.
6) Finally, please send me any
relevant information from the error log.
I've found that SimplDebugger
loses lots of messages that are generated by an S#
program but these are properly picked up by the text
console.? Otherwise it would be simpler to simply save a
log in SimplDebugger.
I'll take a look and see if I
can figure out what is going on.
Thanks
Jay

Re: iPhone 13, VPN and Crestron GO app
You might want to check what type of Encryption you are using for your VPN.?
When I updated the OS on my laptop, all my VPNs stopped working.? Turns out the newer OS's will no longer allow AES256-CBC. You can add some lines to your .ovpn file to allow the older AES256-CBC encryption.? But the better method is to use AES256-GCM encryption -- that is what newer OS's want to see.

iPhone 13, VPN and Crestron GO app
Hi All, I have a client with the GO app and a VPN for use when he is away from the house. With his iPhone 11 (10?) everything worked fine. Now that he updated to the 13, the GO app does not even negotiate with the processor. He has a couple other Apps (Camera and irrigation) and both of those work thru the VPN so we know that the connectivity is working. It would seem that it is something specifically between the new iPhone 13 and the Crestron GO app. We tried turning off 'Private WiFi Address' in the iOS setting but that didn't seem to help...
The GO app does work locally and we don't have an 'Address 2' set up in the app. he just uses the local connection whether at home or thru the VPN.
Anyone have any ideas?? TIA!!

Re: Factory Defaut TS-1070
Got it to work. Pull POE, wait for Crestron logo with scrolling dots (3rd screen in boot up for me). Once saw this screen pulled POE and reapplied. Same sequence 10 more times for total of 11. Confusing part was I had to let it go past the scrolling dot screen after 11th reboot. I suspected the first screen would be factory restore but it was not.
|
Re: Factory Defaut TS-1070
Do I need to wait for the Crestron logo that has the "dots" or can I reset on the first logo I see? I did this for almost 15 minutes yesterday before just giving up. Possibly the biggest waste of time on a touch panel ever, and that's saying something.
|
Re: Factory Defaut TS-1070
It could be like Extron too, one is a reboot, two is clear project, three is whatever.? Do a press and then click five times for factory reset or something like that.? It's pretty stupid the way it is now.
|
Re: Factory Defaut TS-1070
Just did this yesterday with a tech.? Press the reset button in the pin hole on the back until the screen goes black, release.? Once you see a Crestron logo on boot, repeat 10 more times for 11 total.? Wait for it to boot and it will go into a recovery screen with a button to factory reset.? It took him a couple of tries to get it right.? Note to Crestron, this is absurdly complicated.? A 30 second hold on the reset button like every other device made is adequate.??
