Help Message on Touch Panel to Fusion
Folks -?
I am trying to allow a Touch Panel user to select single or several messages based on help desk issues they are experiencing, then send that to Fusion/email. I am having issues building multiple messages, like "Problem with PC, and "Problem with audio" in a string, then sending them to the Fusion module. Any insight on this? It's about string building. Best. Mike |

Re: Need help controlling old Somfy shades via IR
Upon further checking the Draper Intelliflex documentation may be what you are looking for. The interface pictures that you sent the link to is the ESI (Draper) SC1. These in fact use a local control (button) that is connected to the bus of the R2D7 interface. The bus outputs of this device feed the SC1. I will upload the documentation to the files section.

Re: sony control 232 via ADCP
I believe so.?
After working with Sony yesterday, I can turn the projector on, but not off. Nor can I change inputs.? However, I get 'ok' and proper responses for input and power state queries.? I will continue to work with Sony on this but I am hoping others have worked around this 232 landmine.? Thanks to all who replied..? |
Re: Need help controlling old Somfy shades via IR
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI believe that those interfaces were made by ESI and used by both Draper Shade as well as Somfy. These can be controlled via RS-232 using either an RS232 port or using one of the IR ports set as a 1-way serial or as IR if there is an IR eye installed. I know I have interfaced with these in the past. I have a document with the protocol somewhere that I¡¯ll try to upload later once I locate it in my files. The unit that you have supplied the pictures for are the high voltage relay interfaces that are used with the ESI interface. ? Steve ? Sent from for Windows ? From: Tony Golden

Somfy's tech support should be able to confirm whether or not they're actually Somfy parts. If so, they should also be able to provide or help find the correct driver.

Re: Need help controlling old Somfy shades via IR
The only IR drivers I've found anywhere (Crestron DB, RemoteCentral, GlobalCache) are the same 3 drivers and none of these control the shades I'm dealing with.
It's possible the shades or the IR receiver are not Somfy like we've been told (nothing in the electric junction box shows a manufacturer name) and I need a different driver. Miles, I don't know what you mean by "Also inside the control box, are there no CCI¡¯s you could play with?".? What are CCI's?? Please elaborate. |
Re: Zoom Rooms app on TSW-1060
So far we've been having success with the latest guidance of turning off Zoom Room Page Flip, letting the panel cycle through a reboot, verifying Zoom 5.13.0 gets installed via the Status page, then re-enabling Zoom Room Page Flip.? It seems in all cases the panel/app will need to be re-paired to the Zoom Room.?? On Wed, Jan 25, 2023 at 4:48 PM CDUB340 <cwiseley@...> wrote: Us too, about 20 TSW-1060 panels in 2 locations. I tried TrueBlue's fix and several others with no luck. I noticed in the error log on the panel it mentions a 404 error. I wonder if they pulled the update or something. --

Re: Need help controlling old Somfy shades via IR
Yes, we've tried learning codes from the existing program but there are some problems with that idea :
1) Each shade is controlled by a single button which *seems* to send out some sequence of open, stop, close with each press 2) The codes are sent as a pulse so the learner isn't catching them reliably.? There's no way to press/hold the code like you do when you have the IR remote and you press/hold the remote button. About half the codes we captured this way ended up working.? We will try re-capturing the rest again but I was hoping someone who worked with these before had the correct IR driver with reliable codes. |
