That reserved join opens the Sonos App on a TSW panel. I have used it way back when Sonos was first controlled (poorly) by Crestron and before they gave you the jump thru the Media Player Sonos icon. I have also used that reserved join to make a single purpose TSW panel- I had it as the Transition Complete Digital Join on the first page of a single page TSW project where the panel was used only for Sonos music control, and not tied to any control system. When the panel booted up it would flip right to the Sonos App. Quite the expensive in-wall ipad but I dont mind making money haha.?

Did you log in with a dealer/partner level account at support.crestron.com to gain access to the Online Help article?

That article walks through how you upload the .pkg file to the \user\ folder on the processor, and then specify the filepath to the .pkg in the DriverFile$ serial input string on the module. When LoadDriver is pulsed on the module it will handle unzipping the .pkg file on the processor behind the scenes. You only need to unzip the .pkg and inspect the .dat/.dll files in Notepad++ if UserAttributes need to be populated on the module. It's all in the article - just make sure you work through it carefully step-by-step.

Apologies Kamil but I misread your original post. Our CCI Bridge module only currently works with 4-series so would not be a good solution for the CP3 at this time.

Just ran into this myself...? TB recommends setting up a "connects" user profile in the CP4.??

Then in the gateway, text console the following command.

SETCSAUTH -N:username -P:password?

Using the new connects user credentials.

Ultamation have a similar solution to the CC bridge (though ours isn't free), though in this case, I'm guessing that the standard Crestron Home Triggers (in SIMPL, "Pyng (Listen for Pyng Events) v1.1 (cm)") should do what you need without any 3rd party solution.? Just remember to enable legacy ports in Crestron Home.

In Crestron-land things that end .pkg are a Crestron Certified Driver.? That could be either an IR file for Crestron Home, or a driver bundle like the one you're looking at.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned - I haven't read back through the whole thread...
To use the driver in SIMPL Windows you have to copy the .pkg file onto your Crestron Home processor and then use the SIMPL "Crestron Certified Drivers Security System Ethernet|Serial v2.0 (cm)" module to load the driver and communicate with it.? That module is a generic wrapper for all security drivers, so you only get functions that the generic wrapper exposes.

You don't need to unzip the .pkg - just point the wrapper at the file (serial join) and trigger "Load Driver".? Follow any docs that come with the driver as there may be User Attributes that need setting up,

This is just a cautionary post (perhaps for my own sanity next time I run into the problem).

Had a project today that has a CP4 and roughly 40 or so CLW-SWDIMEX-P's.? For me, its easier to manage my lighting in D3 as I am used to it and its just a bit more manageable.? So, built a D3 program with a CEN-GWEX-ER in it with all wireless keypads attached.? Bing, bang boom, Done.? Load program to Slot 3 on the same CP4 my main program is running on.? Done.? IP table on the CP4 in toolbox says everything is connected on port 41794, ethernet intersystems good, CEN-GWEXER good, good to go.

IP Table on the gateway using port 41796, offline..... Well thats weird....

Test manager saying all things talking and working fine, time, loads, buttons, all good.? But local wireless keypads are still only working in local mode and not communicating to program..... Super weird.

SKIP FORWARD AFTER TRYING AUTH settings, changing ports, nothing working.

Roll back firmware on the CEN-GWEX-ER to previous forced auth, I think it was 4.230 or something.? Remove previous IP table, place new instance in, voila, talking on Port 41794.? All devices are working.

Looks like for some reason in how D3 is building or loading the project, I havent exactly determined if this can even be changed, it will not set the port to the secure port of 41796 and it will not work.? So rolling back the firmware on the gateway so authentication is disabled, allowed everything to work correctly.

Just a heads up if anyone runs into said issue.? Feel free to comment if I should have done something else, or missed something.

Yup, got all that...Just was wondering what the reserved join is supposed to do...

As a quick fix, if you can keep the CP3 just for the ports and to run a SIMPL Windows program to continue to control open, close and stop then you can link that program to CP4-R and use our Crestron Home Bridge extensions to link SIMPL Windows and Crestron Home. There are several components in the free version which should allow for controlling your shades (i.e. the button component is probably all you need.)

For the iPad, I always use SIMPL to jump to Sonos instead of a reserved join in VTPRO.? Both the Crestron Go App and even the old Mobile G Pro have a device extender in SIMPL to jump to a URL.? In this case that URL would be "sonos-2://".

For the TSW-x60, it is stuck on an older Android version that no longer is supported by Sonos.? Your only option here is to use a Sonos system with S-1 installed for the TSW-X60 Sonos app to work.? Switching to the Sonos S-2 app will break the TSW-x60 Sonos app.

We've had some issues with TSR-310s and Ruckus APs that manifested as the TSR-310 being unresponsive and then randomly "catching up" on all the missed presses.

Your description sounds more like what happens when something isn't right with Authentication/SSL/SetCSAuthentication. Does the TSR's IP Table show online?

The bit about using a IP-ID from a TSW makes me doubt the relevance of my issues. Is the .sgd the program is referencing what is loaded on the TSR?

I thought that this was interesting given the suffering that I (and others) have experienced with.
