If LLDP cannot be enabled it would be best to have a conversation about ¡°Why¡± and see if the objection can be overcome through other means (e.g. by disabling/blocking LLDP on specific ports/port ranges) ¨C IMO static POE is a bit hackish and the last resort.

If anyone is having POE issues with Catalysts, turn on LLDP protocol with following command:
LLdp run

This will allow NVX endpoints to properly negotiate power. They may work but only pulling 15.4 watts, which would not be enough.

If lldp can not be enabled, you can set static POE power per port.
