I am just playing around with some ideas, and I was wondering if there was anything wrong with connecting a control crosspoint to multiple equipment IDs that are not actually in the program.
I tested it and the program seems to behave the same. Nothing weird in simpl debugger or the error log.
Is there any good reason to not connect a control crosspoint to equipment IDs that are not there?
Does the program ignore the invalid connection or does it think it made it?
I am currently managing the connection, but it seems like a waste of time if I can just tell it to connect to all and there is no negative consequence.
