I'm working with a DMPS3-300-C that is giving me some issues.?
The issues started with not taking firmware updates and sometimes getting stuck on bootup or initialization. Finally got that resolved and the firmware up to date.?
The issue I am having now is related to the LAN port on the device.
I have two Cisco managed switches that we use quite often in QA without any issue. One is not connected to the shop network and the other is. When I connect the DMPS3 to either of those switches, I get no activity on the LAN port lights and am not able to discover in Toolbox. This is the case whether it is set to static or DHCP.
If I plug a Crestron CEN-SW-POE-5 to one of the Cisco switches, and the DMPS into the Crestron switch, success! I am able to discover in toolbox and have activity lights. The DMPS receives a DHCP address. I am only able to connect to the IP in toolbox though if I am also connected to the USB on the DMPS. If I unplug the USB and only discover the device by IP in toolbox, it says "Cannot Connect" when attempting connection.?
Any ideas? At a bit of a loss.?
