Have you made any more progress?
I've written on node.js app that will authenticate, listen and then pipe the Nest JSON object and post on a non-https REST api. ?Would that help your efforts. ?I have lot of clients clamoring for these thermostats.
Again, if things hit a wall, I'm happy to provide middle-ware.
