I have a couple very early 552s in my
house and haven¡¯t encountered anything like the described. The OS should not be
background updating at all.

Just
wondering if anyone has had this issue before... So I installed several
TSW-1052's and TSW-552's last week. ?Updated all the firmware to these
panels to the latest firmware, loaded my graphics tested and went home.
?That was last Thursday. ?I go to the job site today and every single
touch panel was now locked up. I have 5 1052's and about 8 552;s on site.
?A few V15's as well but all those are OK.
?
?Some
were stuck in the Crestron Loading screen, some were stuck on a black screen,
and one was stuck with a message saying the Android OS was being updated.
?But it all cases, I was able to connect to the panels via toolbox.
?I was not able to reload any project to ANY of them. ?All gave me an
error message when uploading through FTP or through Toolbox. ?Of course I
caught this towards the end of the day so Crestron tech support wasnt able to
do much yet (I will be back with them tomorrow after to double check code and
VTProe files).
?
What I
was thinking is that maybe the Andoind OS operating system started to get
updated in the background and jammed the panels up. ?Anyone else seend or
heard anything like this?? ?I'll update when I go back on site tomorrow
and call back tech support.
