How do you manage to put the processor and video board on different subnets, while they are on the same physical port? ? From: "Rapha?l

I know these use two IP addresses and that Crestron recommends PNM. What are the disadvantages of PNM other than having to go through the switcher to manage Tx's and Rx's?? ? I assume that if I use the LAN port on an endpoint (for a Projector), it connects to the same network that the DM switcher card is on, and not behind the NAT? ? Does anyone find using different subnets for each room useful? For example: 192.168.11.xx for Room 1 192.168.12.xx for Room 2 etc.
? The classrooms are not connected to each other from an AV standpoint. But, I would like to be able to manage all of them simultaneously.? ? Any other pointers? ?
