Good luck getting the API, I tried, they wouldn't give it up unless I had Crestron's approval to write the official Crestron module. I tried explaining to them (via phone, they actually called me in response to my email) how our industry works but they said they don't have the resources to support it if they handed it out to everyone. Their fear was a Crestron owner calls DISH for support and they need to know who to direct the call to. Really annoying and narrow minded but I can understand it. At least they responded to me. I even mentioned that DirecTV just has it out there for people to use.
