Last few weeks I've had 3x RMAs on HD-EXT-1C transmitters for corrosion on the RJ45 output port after just under 2 years in service. Now I just took possession of a DM-RMC-SCALER-C that was acting not working right (control passing, video usually not passing), and looks like the jack has a similar issue. When compared to a new Leviton RJ45 jack the difference is stunning. The other ports on these units (HDMI) look like shiny copper / gold color. The units are not exposed to abnormal humidity or anything else, wondering if they had a bad batch of ports. They all seem to be made by Amphenol.
Anyone else run into this?
