Another option I've been keeping an eye on with lithium is Roypow lithium. The golf cart guys have been liking them, with integrated Bms, warranty and easy hookup. I haven't heard them mentioned here

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one...? "almost no one uses a BMS on Volt modules.". Its all good! Everyone has their own opinions and experiences.? I'm glad your having good luck

Hi Roy and All,I have many Volt packs as I sell them to other EV people upgrading from lead packs., use Volt modules in my custom EVs like my EV trike pickup.???No I don't use them in a CCar

?Hi Roy and All,Nice but a few details.? ?I'd never break up a Volt module or not run coolant in a CCar.? Just get a single 2 48vdc section Volt module stock and wire the 48vdc sections in

On a similar note, Chevy didn't install water cooling because it "wasn't necessary", either. Has anyone plumbed up the water channels, along with a small pump, rad, and fan for temperature control

Volt batteries work well, I have two sections @ 48 volts in mine.? ?You really do need BMS on those cells, they are like any other lithium cells.? You can get by with it for the first few years,

Hi Jerry So you have a 48v battery pack from a volt....and its in your commuta/citi car. Looked up Bms and see battery management system. We have a guy locally here selling craigslist reconditioned

guessing wires hanging out of dash are for the charger connection to the system one white wire goes to some gauge missing on the dash as you can see hole in picture

I'm sure we can help you Roy. To begin, a fully charged 8v battery should be closer to 8.5v each with a total 48v pack fully charged around 51v. At 7.5v, those batteries are very low. I'd try hooking
