? ?In the Ccar you just need to circulate the coolant as unlikely to heat them much mostly to keep all the cells the same temp or the end cells can differ.
To ib's post here, I'm at 2.5 yrs of use and charging? abuse yet the cells are still within 1/100th of? Volt of each other without a BMS. On a Chevy it certainly could be needed but almost no one uses a BMS on Volt modules.
I charge to 49.2vdc as per Volt specs and use 38vdc as the low voltage as not much capacity under it anyway and not worth possible damage.? ?I've accidently charged to 58vdc and had to run off a kwh to get it back to full charge with no damage I can tell but wouldn't do it again.

On a similar note, Chevy didn't install water cooling because it "wasn't
necessary", either. Has anyone plumbed up the water channels, along with
a small pump, rad, and fan for temperature control while charging, etc,
or is the rate of charge/discharge so much slower nobody bothers?
