Alex,
I am awaiting an estimate on rebuilding my C-Car motor as well as another GE
motor from an Elec-trac garden tractor. Our local motor shop was unable to
find parts and sent the motors to a shop in Ohio to see if repair or
replacement with another rebuilt is an option. When I talk to them I will
see if any other motors are available and find out the name and address of
their company.

Subject: [C-Car] need a citicar motor - no motor in there at all...
I just purchased citicar with no motor in it. Is there any hope for
me? Should I look into getting a different rear end? The guys at
evparts.com said that I should get a ez go golf cart rear end for it,
and they could supply up to a 40 hp motor for that rear end(too much
for me 5-10hp is fine) and that the brakes were compatible with the
citicars. Disregarding their advise, I won a Cushman golf cart rear
end and motor on ebay for $120 this week, I will see if I can get it
to fit when it gets here.
I would rather just rebuild and bolt in a citicar motor if possible
though.
Anyone out there have any of these beasts laying around?
Thanks, Alex.
