Re: Looking for bulletin and mail forwarding partners
I recommend partnering with either one of these two so that personal messages addressed to you can be forwarded to the BBS's below and not reach a dead end. They can handle bulletins also.

You might need to change your location in your bpq32.cfg file.? I still see you in FL, but the map may be a bit behind.

Looking for bulletin and mail forwarding partners
Good Evening,
?
I have finally completed the move from Florida to Colorado and gotten the station back up and operational (long process, many issues). I am looking for a bulletin forwarding partner.
?
My path is: KO4YAW.#NCO.CO.USA.NOAM
?
I sort of miss reading the news every day.
?
Thanks,
-Chris

Re: DXSpider and LinBPQ
it depends on if you want to connect to dxspider or host a dxspider server. connecting to an existing host is just using telnet from bpq to the host. hosting, on the other hand, is a locally installed and maintained server. (that you could also telnet to from bpq). similar to installing, setting up, maintaining the bpq program. both options would 'look' the same from the client side terminal program. good luck kb0wlf |
Re: DXSpider and LinBPQ
This intrigues me because I am always trying to enhance our local system. ?I am not a DX chaser so only know of DX Spider from the wiki. Is this really as easy as adding a line to the BPQ applications or do I need install some software? I¡¯m currently sysop for a BPQ packet system operating on a PI 4. I can probably figure out what to install and how to install it but want to avoid spinning my wheels. WB9TEN
