Re: Tracker and KISS Port Query.
Hrmm if your tracker is on a serial port, then I think IOADDR is moot. The IOADDR here is for mostly kiss over TCP. Second, on the tracker, not sure if you're a teensy tracker or an official, but I think that its the same. If you want to force robust baud, do it before you set the modem into kiss mode. |
Re: SYSOP MSG TO CALL
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThanks Mark, ???? I did not notice that, I have unmark the BBS, let see now if this do any changes. Jean

Re: SYSOP MSG TO CALL
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi John, ?????? I have posted this message few months agoo, got replies about Jnso and FBB but nothing about LinBPQ. is that a way to have messages address to sysop to be redirected to a specific call? I have this in my config: bout does not appear to work.

it's in testing right now. It seems to be stable. No crashes so far. Thanks a lot for your swift intervention. 73 de iw2ohx Marco Il 2025-02-18 21:08 John G8BPQ via groups.io ha scritto:

Tracker and KISS Port Query.
Hi.? I have a working KISS port Query.??
?
Here's part of my PORT entry.??
?
PORT
?PORTNUM=4
?ID=/dev/ttyUSB1
?TYPE=ASYNC
?PROTOCOL=KISS
?KISSOPTIONS=TRACKER
?FULLDUP=0
?COMPORT=/dev/ttyUSB1
?IOADDR=1F40 ;?for port 8000
?SPEED=38400
?PERSIST=64
?SLOTTIME=100
?
1) I have query about the IOADDR.? ?My Hex address is set for PORT:8000 Is this entry necessary or correct?? The Tracker goes into kiss mode and works but I am unable to connect to the port via PCIPaddress:8000 - I am not sure if I have understood the need for the IOADDR?
?
2) I assume it is not possible to change the BAUD from 300 to R600 from a terminal application?? Can I add the BAUD in the config, or do I need to return the Tracker to TRConfig on Windows to do that?
?
Cheers,
?
David?

Changing IF Filter during forwarding connect script
Does anyone know how to change the Icom IF filter within a forward script?
?
The Rigcontrol scan line options include the filter data, and the filter is applied when scanning.? But, when the forward script is initiated the filter applied at the time is the filter used.? If the script just happen to initiate at the time a scanned frequency with the filter is being scaned the filter remains applied.
?
?
Or, change the filter in a terminal session after you attach to a port.

ATTACH 4
NOFALLBACK C CMS else
att 5
RADIO 10.1465
BW2300

Like that?

Re: Question on RELAYAPP=BBS
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThat should work. The messages are queued to BBS RMS which needs Use B2 set.In the forwarding script for BBS RMS connect to the RMS call of the station that has a working CMS connection. 73, JOhn ? On 18/02/2025 16:05, Mark Taylor wrote:

The problem is in bpq32.dll so reverting bpqmail.exe wouldn't help .54 of bpq32.dll should have worked. Can you try this: Thanks, John On 18/02/2025 13:19, Marco Di Martino wrote:

When connecting to the RMS call of the HF station...the station connects to the CMS but BPQ does not send the user/pass to send the message, or retrieve messages.? In fact, BPQ does not recognize the coonnect and disconnect prior to RMS Trimode identifying itself and getting to the CMS prompt. This part is resolved.
?
If it is possible to designate the HF station to forward Winlink messages that 'Fell back to the BBS' to be automatcially forwarded that would be great.
