Aye, It is not explicitly put in the various modem drivers. I have found it by some trial and error. But it IS listed in the uz7ho driver:

It works on some others I think like WinRPR, ARDOP, and KISSHF (undocumented). If you look at n9seo-3 on the map, you will see mine. Tho I guess RPR is not reporting now. It was when I looked some months ago.

I will put an ¡°UPDATEMAP¡± in my config and see what happens.

Obviously I have had issue this NAME|VALUE pair.
Is this an information line or does it attempt to control a radio?
I assume that the center frequency would be used.
Where may I find more information?

Re: Reporting HF capable node on the BPQ map

I think you need the UPDATEMAP in the port config. Tho it may not work for some ports types. I dont have a frequency line here, but have the RADIO section configured for rigcontrol.

PORT
 ID=UZ7HO KX3 NET105
 PORTNUM=6
 DRIVER=UZ7HO
 FRACK=7000
 RESPTIME=7000
 CHANNEL=A
 INTERLOCK=1
 RADIO=1
 PACLEN=80
 RETRIES=15
 CONFIG
  ADDR 192.168.1.2 8000 PTT CAT
  MAXSESSIONS=5
  UPDATEMAP
  BEACONAFTERSESSION
ENDPORT
RADIO 1
    FLRIG 192.168.1.2:12345 HAMLIB=4532

Could you send me your bpq32.cfg file so I can see exactly what character's you are using??

Thanks, John?

Reporting HF capable node on the BPQ map

Upgrade to the Latest DLL issues

I installed the latest installer and then installed the latest DLL.
My web interface for the mail (BBS) went away. I reinstalled again
and I am back to normal, but running the 6.0.24.1 version. I think
the DLL puts it up to 24.54 or something like that. Any suggestions?

Pretty sure that refers to pure ASCII vs unicode.

Success: QtSoundModem ptt and GPIO

Works fine. I'm not sure that I understand the GPIO terminology or if the GUI needs an update. I was designating the physical pin and it turns out that it is the GPIO Port number (GPIO 25 on pin 22). The other thing I ended up doing was editing the .ini file with Nano to configure the KISS port. That could have just been me being impatient with the GUI. With that out of the way, it worked well with piLinBPQ in place of Direwolf which is what I was after.
?
John, thanks for the quick response. I'm moving forward.

@Mauro: Good see, but that was my fault. in real World there are 3 Asterisks. BBS is up and running with plane CTEXT without any issues.
Thank you

ASCII art should work so long as you have the right codeset, but you can't use \nnn to set control characters.

Colorcodes are not Working.
I tried '\033[32m? ?... (my TEXT) ...? ? \033[0m'
LinBPQ Start without Problem, but no collores are displayd via telnet in Bitvise nor AX25 in Putty, bot, bitvise an putte should be capeable of showing colors.
I also tried some kind of AscII ART in CTEXT between CTEXT: and ****
eg:
CTEXT:
____ _ _ ____ ____ ____ _

| |_| | |_| | |/ ___ \| | | | | |
|____/ \___/|_/_/ \_\_| |_| |_|

Loock nicer in Terminal..
With the ASCII Art the Linbpq wouldent even Start.
By trying so it prompted, 'Translation Error'?

Is there any Trick to get this things Working?

Yes, it should. You can select GPIO in the PTT setup. I haven't tried it for a while so would be interested to hear if it still works.
