Re: BBS to BBS forwarding AXIP Starlink
I think an AXIP over TCP link should work. The starlink end should be the TCP-master, connecting to a TCP-Slave at the site with the fixed address. See

Re: BBS to BBS forwarding AXIP Starlink
You can create a TCP link directly from you to him without any additional servers or software.? It's all in the map line. TCP-MASTER and TCP-SLAVE are the two commands you need. Documented at

Re: BBS to BBS forwarding AXIP Starlink
Host a Wireguard VPN server at a fixed IP address location and the remote site on the Starlink would be the VPN client. The client reaches out to the fixed IP of the Wireguard server and the link is

BBS to BBS forwarding AXIP Starlink
Ok heres the issue: I have starlink.? since starlink uses carrier grade nat for IVP4 which means the outward or WAN public IP changes almost by the min.? I have changed the WAN IP in MAP (bpq32.cfg)

Re: Missing calls in MH ?
I suspect it's something to do when you attach to the port. Perhaps once attached but not linked to another station, newly seen calls don't make their way to the heard list? Just a guess.

Re: Reverse polling does not send SID
The SID exchange is started by the remote station so I'd need to see the log from there to work out what is happening. 73, John

Re: Reverse polling does not send SID
Sorry, forgot to mention I using LinBPQ v6.0.24.42 and here is a normal exchange when I have msg's to send. Connecting to BBS N9VC 241017 00:29:56 <N9VC ? ? ?*** CONNECTED 241017 00:29:56 >N9VC ?

Reverse polling does not send SID
As a DTN station my linBPQ polls the hub station (also BPQ based) for traffic, but if I don't have anything to send the connection stalls because there is no exchange of SIDs. bbs log: 241017 01:10:20

To add to John's comment, also Haproxy works just fine with a few tweaks in config.

Re: IDMSG only in Port 1
ID should be sent to any L2 port (eg KISS, AXIP, BPQETHER) . Note that The UZ7HO driver is not KISS. 73, John

Yes, I use a single radio. I use INTERLOCK=1 on all ports. You helped me a lot, thank you very much. I didn't send my .cfg because I'm away from the radio and notebook at the moment. Thanks and best

Re: INTERLOCK and Beacons
All ports have the INTERLOCK command?? So all ports use the same radio? Of course you could have two ports sharing one radio, and two different ports sharing a different radio...? But logically when

Good point. I use the UZ7HO driver on the ax25 port. I will try to use KISS but I am afraid of losing the INTERLOCK function with KISS. Em s¨¢b., 12 de out. de 2024, 10:40, Lee Bengston via groups.io
