Re: WhatsPac

I believe the longer term plan for WhatsPac is to have sort of federared servers, a side effect of which would probably be that separate networks could exist, so there could be a US one in time. That said if you can find a fast route in to the UK that would be interesting too!

It's a new project in alpha but it's very cool, some more information will hopefully soon be added at if anyone wants to follow, there's not much there just yet though.

I don't? use xrouter. The new WhatsPac interface in BPQ removes the need for it.

WhatsPac is just a BPQ application. You connect to the node that runs it and type the application, so need to be able to connect to the MB7NPW node. If you already have axip links to a node in the uk you may be able to find your way to it.

I probably shouldn't have raised expectations by mentioning it!

John, I can see that if it were an RF connection.? If you choose I am a BPQ Sysop and want to set up an L4 connection I thought the instruction would take your information, have you install a MAP line to your XRouter, and the far end (MM7NPW) would dynamically install a map line to your XRouter, creating an AXIP path from MB7NPW to your XRouter, then to your BPQ node call.
?
Maybe I was just too optimistic.
