Re: Cannot make QtTermTCP executable

John,

Yes, it works fine in Ubuntu 20.04.

Thanks!

Lee,

Can you try this? It works on the system I built it on? (64 bit Debian 4.19 using? Qt version 5.11.3) but I don't have any other 64 bit systems to test with.

Just FYI, I was able to install?ia32-libs on a new image of Ubuntu 20.04 last week (for a similar reason), and it looks like the LM deb for?ia32-libs available in the repos is fairly recent.

That might solve your problem.

Fyi in Ubuntu 20.04 I was able to follow the same instructions for older versions of Ubuntu in order to install 32 bit support:
dpkg --add-architecture i386

sudo apt install libc6:i386 libstdc++6:i386
That enabled me to run apps like LinBPQ and "XRLin" in Ubuntu 20.04 64 bit.? When I tried the 32 bit QtTermTCP binary it squawked about a missing qt5widgets file, so it looks like I'm missing a 32 bit qt5 library.

What did work was to download the 64 bit binary from here:

It's version 0.39, but it works.? So if a new binary of the latest version could be posted, that would be great.? :-)
