The system on 46.4MHz located at Waltham on the Wold is just transmitting with no outstations reporting back. So it is effectively just burning electricity.

My guess is it will continue to run until a legacy contract ends, and then it will be turned off. If it was just turned off before such a date, it could be considered a breech of contract, with much greater financial implications than accepting regular income, and using part if it to pay the electricity bill.
