We also noticed this peak at 22.1kHz in Italy, but we thought it was a problem with the transmitter.

It's suspicious that it starts nearly on the hour and there
is a also a similar peak that starts at 20:04
and drops at 20:54 just after a short break in the
transmission.

It's not local interference as it sows up on loudet's
website.
Presumably it was a change at the transmitter?
