I LOVE my BXA. No problems with using it that the original lantern post won't solve, although I haven't used the lantern post in more than 4 years. It holds 1/4 inch through 1 inch tool bits and I've never had trouble adjusting it for the height I want. Get the BXA and use the same tooling on both lathes, it would be silly to spend the extra for a set of AXA tooling.
