I hadn't thought of these cards originally being intended only for their HO slot cars and just put the car on there because they were the big deal, at the time, but you could be right. The cards could be bubbled with anything that would fit on them.

I almost exclusively had Aurora Thunderjet 500 stuff so I don't remember, at all, seeing Atlas bubble pack slot car stuff.

I have been aware of the pink card package but have never seen one in person, that I know of, anyway. I may have seen them hanging in a hobby shop and just don't remember. Atlas had HO in that package, too, but it must have been as or almost as short-lived as the HO slot cars. I also think it was the only time N and HO shared a common packaging scheme.

A version I either haven't seen or haven't seen in a long time recently appeared on eBay.? It was conveniently offered with a more common version of packaging. Note the racing car with the Atlas trademark!? This harkens back to the days when Atlas made a short-lived foray into slot cars.? Only the HO Scale "Refreshment Stand" remains from that product line.
