Re: Fun With Packaging, Track Department

Use it up, wear it out... good reuse of older packaging materials I suppose. I wonder what racing?accessory this card was originally intended for?

Like Doug I may have seen these at our local hobby shop, but any real memory has faded from view.

I have been aware of the pink card package but have never seen one in person, that I know of, anyway. I may have seen them hanging in a hobby shop and just don't remember. Atlas had HO in that package, too, but it must have been as or almost as short-lived as the HO slot cars. I also think it was the only time N and HO shared a common packaging scheme.

Also, it is very important, at least to any A1G fan. \:*)

Well, this is likely to be the least important thing you'll see today...

Atlas track has been packaged in several different ways, including during the A1G time period.? A version I either haven't seen or haven't seen in a long time recently appeared on eBay.? It was conveniently offered with a more common version of packaging.

Note the racing car with the Atlas trademark!? This harkens back to the days when Atlas made a short-lived foray into slot cars.? Only the HO Scale "Refreshment Stand" remains from that product line.

Here's the image-- no affiliation with the seller.
