Seven Fingers- Calon y M?r (Sara, Henri, Kir, John)

<Sara Merrick>

?

Sara smiled at the woman¡¯s description of herself. Fish farts indeed...and did fish even fart Sara thought. With a shake of her head..

?

¡°Now Bonnie he¡¯s not near as bad as all that. The captain can be rather charming in his own way. You have so much ire towards him you sound like a woman scorn. Did you two have a thing when you both lived? Is he the reason why you¡¯re dead?¡± Sara said whispering the last part.

?

¡°Otherwise do tell the reason why you despise him so..,unless you really secretly are in love with him and it¡¯s all an act .¡± She said with a wink.

?

<Bonnie, deceased NPC waitress>

?

"Oh," Bonnie snickered, "tha' ol' bastard were long dead afore I washed up on death's door. No, 'ee' s just not right, ye ken. There be sumthin' too distinct about 'im is all." She held up her cup.. "take this 'ere grog. I can drink me own grog all day long, but the Cap'n's grog, from 'is cup," she leaned in and whispered, "tis bleedin' real, it tis. No' of the spirit realm a'tall."

?

<Kirschvasser>

?

Kir followed along and did her best not to stare. All the spirits that were here in all sorts of forms of death. She heard John talk of how the old town had perished at the end of the seventeenth century. And that they now lie below the harbor. Her eyes drawn to the spirit with half its face gone. She had an idea that it had been a cannonball.

?

As they continued towards the harbor Kir wondered what they were going to find. "John? What is it that you are hoping to do? Does this thing need to be set free?"

?

?

<John Merriweather>

?

¡°Well, my dear,¡± the thaumatologist replied, ¡°that remains to be determined. If it is an elemental, as I believe, then something is binding it to this point. Someone has left a binding spell made that should be dispelled. As a licensed, practicing thaumatologist I have an obligation to undo the spell if I can, and report the infraction to the authorities.¡±

¡°If it is another wizard, well, I shall confront him and advise him to control the forces he¡¯s wielding better lest he cause some form of mayhem.¡±

John shuddered a bit then. ¡°Of course, if he¡¯s belligerent he will probably kick my ass.¡±

Sara regarded Bonnie as if she had just grown to heads. Sara went quiet waiting. Sure the woman was joking with her. But the punchline never came. Sara let out a small reluctant chuckle. But still, the woman's face was steadfast and earnest. Sara frowned. "Bonne," she began. "Surely you are joking." When the woman said nothing more. "Bonnie, surely you know that can not be the case. There is just no way."

Sara went quiet then. Contemplating Bonnie's words. "What else about him do you find peculiar?"

<Bonnie, deceased NPC waitress>

The tavern wench looked up when newcomers entered the bar. ¡°Now there¡¯s a fine pair of newly crossed spirits, aye? Methinks ¡®twas a ill wind what blowed ¡®em in ¡®ere.¡± She cackled as she stood up, ¡°Ye can always tell the new ones,¡± she added to Sara with a wink, ¡°they all got¡¯s that ¡®what the ¡®ell ¡®appened¡¯ look.¡±

¡°¡¯Allo, buggers,¡± Bonnie called to John and Kir, ¡°plant yer arses an¡¯ I¡¯ll fetch ye a pair o¡¯ pints, aye?¡±
?

- Sara Merrick -

?Sara turned to in the direction that Bonnie had looked. And there as sure as she was dead was ?John Merriweather and his fair lady Kir. At first she was shocked seeing them. Scared for them. And then her eyes narrowed. She stood and turned coming up behind Bonnie as the wench gave them a rather boisterous welcome. Coming around Bonnie she came to stand with her hands on her hips before John. ¡°What in all that¡¯s good and holy did you do?¡±

?<John Merriweather>

?

¡°Mistress Merrick,¡± John responded as he stood ramrod straight and clasped his hands behind him, ¡°I am still Ships Bo¡¯son, outranked only by the First Mate and the Captain himself. I suggest you remember that when addressing me in the future.¡±

¡°As for what I¡¯ve ¡®done¡¯, I am addressing a matter that may pose a threat to the Seven Fingers, of course.¡± He looked at the spirited, spirit woman before him. ¡°If you wish to assist us, then perhaps we could compare note over a ¡®pint¡¯,¡± he smiled at Bonnie, ¡°if this delightful young lady would be so kind as to serve us, of course?¡±

<Bonnie, deceased NPC waitress>

Being taken aback, Bonnie¡¯s form shimmered slightly and seemed to lose definition for a moment, but she recovered quickly. ¡°Right away, Guv¡¯nor!¡± she exclaimed. As she passed Sara, headed for the bar, she whispered, ¡°¡¯e¡¯es quite a charmer, in¡¯t ¡®e? An a¡¯ off¡¯cer too! Too bad ¡®e¡¯s already gots a lady on ¡®is arm, aye?¡±

-Sara Merrick-

She snorted rather unladylike fashion. "Is that so?" Well, we are not on ship, John Merriweather. We are on land. And while we are on land that makes you just a man. And apparently a dead one. And since I have been dead for way longer than you, it would appear that I outrank you.?
And since this marks the second time you have decided to approach me all snooty and stank, no I have no intention of sharing anything with you, a pint or otherwise.?My orders were to inform you the Captain wanted you to report back to that ship which gives you your rank. I did my orders, but I see you have chosen to ignore yours. So as far as I am concerned, there is no need for me to?deals with you until I find myself back on ship?where I shall have no choice but to deal with you, by Captain's orders.? Good day to you sir." she said?

With nodded to Kir. "Good Day madame," she said. she turned on her heels and walked towards the door. "See you around Bonnie," she said politely and moved to walk out of the tavern.?
