(Callum)

"Ah'll have a word with the lad," Callum said, looking up again.? "Ah'm sure he was not meaning to be disrespectful.? It's just... Jaimie has a strong attachment to the castle. And to the old ways it represents.? He tends to be very protective of both."? His mouth quirked a little as he added "And of you as well, though it may not have seemed like it. Give him a chance to serve and ah believe he will not disappoint you."

Sam also felt the connection. Like a part of her was home. It was strange because she wasn't a very sentimental person. Losing both her parents did that...knocked all the sentimentality out of her. But there was something about this man that felt familiar.
"No," Scheherezade said of him offering to talk to Jaimie. "Thank you buy no. I order for this to work, Jaimie and I will have to come to find common ground on our own. That will take us talking this through. After our walk, I will go look for him and he and I will work this out. But thank you for offering," she said with a smile. And with a nodded, Sam took his arm. "I am excited. There is so much of the grounds I can see from my window. I wish to know about everything. Oh, and do you think we can add the turret to our tour?"?
