¡°Of course,¡± Harrison said moving to sit down in a chair across from Mia.??¡°Mia,¡± Harrison began, ¡°I
have to tell you that your behavior yesterday and today seemed in stark
contrast to the woman I met three days ago. Your maturity impressed me. So much
so that I understand now why Mr. Chord was considering you to be second for the
team.¡±
¡°Yesterday you were in
the trenches. I may have watched your performances but you lived it. Side by
side with them. Your sound level thinking has earned my respect. Because of
this, I would like to hear your thought on the team, their performances as a
whole and individually, and what happened both yesterday with Gen and with team
today. And I would also like to know your thoughts on how do you think things
should proceed.?Thus Mia, I would like to know all you are willing to
share.¡±

Mia took a seat and then
listened to Harrison.? ¡°Has it only
really been three days?? It sure feels
like it had been longer.¡±? She then
thought about how to proceed to the questions that the lady wanted answered.? But before she did, ¡°thank you.? Yes, I was taken aback some by everything that
happened in the beginning and was unsure how to proceed with it all.? I mean I was under the first impression that
I had been invited to some sort of party by Brandon, then his intentions were
very clear, but I was not interested in what he was trying to offer.¡±
¡°Well, the team as a
whole needs a lot of work to be able to work as a team.? Individually they all seem to have an
understanding of their abilities and powers, but it seemed that most do not
have an understanding of how to use them in the situations they were placed in.¡±? She paused for a moment, ¡°I myself am still training
and learning exactly what I can do with my own abilities and I have been
practicing my entire life.¡±
¡°Before I answer about
yesterday, there is too much fraternization taking place between them.? During the obstacle course there was a lot of
flirting going on between Kites and Gen, and Brandon and Kat.? It was like they were high schoolers out for gym
class instead of being serious about what was going on.? I think this played into the way they handled
the robots.? Sure, Brandon tried to tell
us about them, but everyone seemed to want try their own way of handling
them.? Personally, I was trying to size
up the situation and figure it out when Kat yelled at me to throw mud at the
thing.? I reacted and did just that,
which was not the best action,¡± she paused and giggled a little bit, ¡°however,
it did seem to confuse the robot for a moment.¡±
¡°Anyway, that was yesterday.? As for Gen, he thinks he can take care of
everyone and doesn¡¯t have a clue.? He had
recently escaped a laboratory where he was created and really has no idea how
the world works.? So, I don¡¯t blame him
for trying to take control and fly to attack the robots, however, he knew what
his screeching would do to us.? Unless he
is reigned in and first taught how the world works, he won¡¯t fit in on any
team.¡±
¡°As to where to proceed
from here, well,¡± she paused and sighed before continuing, ¡°I was a little surprised
that Mr. Chord decided to simply end the program after our interview.? Seems like a lot of work to just give up on
it.? I am willing to remain as there is
not a reason for me to return home.? I
have no desire to run the oil company in Allen Town.? I would like to use the facility to continue
my training and would like for you to be my teacher, if you are willing, Ms.
Harrison.? If Mr. Chord is really wanting
to give up on creating a team of mutant superheroes.? This city is going to need something in place
one day to help local law enforcement if real trouble ever does occur and I
would be willing to be one of those to help them.¡±? She gave the lady a smile and then waited to
see what she would say next.
