Khadashee smiled. A little mischief in her green eyes. ¡°Oh I can, watch,¡± Khadashee said looking up at Draven. ?When he took him self off, she mouthed thank you as her left.?¡°see,¡± she said to Bridget with a smile. Then reach for her hand. ¡°Shall we go for a walk. Or do you want to sit near the water.¡±
(Bridget) Bridget was a little amazed as she had seen only one other person be able to send her pappa off without a word and that was her mother. "My legs are tired from riding, so sitting will be nice." She said. For a child of 5, she was very grown up and knew how to speak to adults with respect.
Once they were sitting, she turned to the lady next to her, "I am sorry for how I behaved, earlier, about the baby. Pappa explained that things would not change between us, just because he was going to have another." She smiled, shyly hoping that Khada would be kind.
