"For now, simply get settled in. If you need clothing and necessities, we provide all of that...regular clothing. You only have to wear the school uniform when you are comfortable and ready to...or not. No one is forced to do anything they do not wish. I only ask that for now, please try and not use your abilities until we have a chance to talk and assess what they are and how they work. Okay?"

Roddy regarded Mia warily for a moment, then shrugged.? "Your place, your rules.? For now."? He looked around the entryway.? "So, what's settling in involve?? Any forms I gotta sign?? Pictures I gotta pose for?? I don't suppose I'll get a room to myself, though it might be better for you if I did.? I'm not good at playing with others."

Looking back, the sullen youth glanced at Misty as if noticing her for the first time.? "So, you one of the freaks they've been rounding up for this place?? Or are you just window dressing to make the place seem normal?"
