(Sicilien)

Now that the sheriff was no longer the dead weight he didn't want to carry, Sicilien was free to help defend their flank against the few townsfolk that the sheriff wasn't able to knock some sense into.? As the party started backing up out of the restaurant and the door was swung open, he, like the rest of them, was buffeted by the chaotic storm outside.? His very being was assaulted by the sand that he was sure was going to end up in places where the sun don't shine, but there was nothing they could about that.? It was either fight to the death inside or be sandblasted to bits.? It was six of one half dozen of the other.

"Well, I hope one of you knows where they're going in this storm, cause I sure ain't!" he yelled back, immediately regretting the action as some grit landed on his tongue.? He could be wrong but Sicilien felt like this troupe had some familiarity with this place, so he was going to have to count on someone to lead him out of this mess.? Though jail wasn't exactly where he's want to spend the night, it didn't seem like that much of a choice either way you spun it.? So he followed the ones that seemed to know where they were going.? He kept his guns up, making sure that Callie's ten and two were covered as they exited this place.? Right before he did so, the atmosphere suddenly changed again, with the darkness that they experienced falling away.? Instead, the riff-raff that followed them suddenly took on demonic shapes, howling and yowling as they set about attacking each other.? It was a very welcome distraction, giving them just enough time to get out.? Now to find this jail and hole up for the night.? He had a lot of questions that he needed answering, and he hoped that his new companions were amicable enough to answer them.
(Chase)

There was nothing for him to make of this¡so he didn¡¯t try.? He could pull his kerchief up to his face but he could barely see.? He could only hope his feet wouldn¡¯t fail him and his determination would push him.? He was sure he could hang on to the mustang given female form in the shape of Etienne.? Seems the wizard remembered the way, He was sticking close to the Sicilian while making sure the areas the he could at least see with his squinting eyes were covered. At least as they moved through the hell sent sandstorm, his gun cocked and ready to be fired just in case.?

He still wasn¡¯t sure this was a good idea..they would be hold up inside the sheriff¡¯s office and they needed to get to the other town¡something in what Amy said made him think they were working on a clock¡time was not on their side.? He knew it¡some evil magic¡it was pretty simple.? Talking was useless since if he wasn¡¯t careful he would get a mouthful of sand quickly.? ¡®Don¡¯t stop!¡¯? He was nothing if not focused.

(Callie Carson)
Callie watched the horrors fade in and out of the sandstorm swirling around them. Dark, demonic creatures who would take shape for a moment, then disappear, only to reappear somewhere else around them. She recognized the beasts. They were minions of something more powerful., lesser demons, but still capable of attacking, killing or bringing other unpleasantries upon them.
They arrived at the sheriff's office, the light of a lantern inside barely visible through the sand spinning round them. With the sheriff at the door, Callie continued to hold up the rear, weapons aimed at the creatures who were following them. She counted three remaining townsfolk who were currently possessed by evil entities and no less than a dozen lesser demons who were surrounding them.
"Hurry with that door, sheriff!" she yelled above the howling winds and growling demons. "I'd have preferred the church...but if my memory serves me right that was on the other side of town. Let's hope we can hold them off here."
(Flynn)
Flynn stopped when they reached the sheriff's office, realizing he had three problems. The first problem was that he doubted the sheriff would take kindly to a horse coming inside his office. The second was that he'd left his saddle bags and gun case back at the hotel/restaurant. The saddle bags didn't really matter but his gun case had his custom-made brass rifle and that would be almost impossible to replace.? And last but not least, he'd left his clothes hidden out by the water trough when he'd shifted into horse form. ?
The pookah nudged Callie towards the door, then suddenly took off, disappearing into the howling storm.? Amid the howl of the wind, some yelling and gunshots could be heard.? But just as the sheriff finally got the door open, Flynn came running back - human and quite naked - awkwardly carrying his clothes, saddle bags and gun case.? "Thank you, sheriff," he shouted as he pushed past the lawman and hurried inside.? There he proceeded to set everything down and then calmly begin dressing once again. ?
"So," he asked nonchalantly, looking at the others as they came in. "Did we all make it?"
