He wasn't used to...hell he had never been tearful in front of her.? But the one person that still loved him beyond measure was now gone.? She didn't judge him or anything close, she always did what she could to pull her brothers back together but she still supported them both in their own ways.? Hearing his name brought his eyes up to look at her and focus on the fact that she was their in her house coat.? "I...didn't mean...to wake you."? He didn't...he did in a way, but not like this.
"She...She's gone!? I don't know what went wrong."? The large painful tears began to form and dropped into his glass and even though he knew no amount of alcohol would mask the pain that he felt right now.? He swallowed.? "Brandon...was probably left the company since Dad and I were on the outs.? But all of them Dad, Harrison, Ir...Ire...Ireland.? I just saw...spent the afternoon with her that day.? Kiera...I...I failed her...she needed me and I wasn't there!"? He could feel his heartbeating?in the pit of his stomach.? He could only imagine her final moments and the lost felt more acute now that he was alone with Kiera, the person that knew...him.? She truly was THE last one in his life, if Kiera left he would truly be alone!
(Kiera) "I told you to come and wake me when you returned. What do you mean...gone...as in no longer living?" She asked cautiously not wanting to use the word, dead. "How could you have known. What happened?" Kiera was generally concerned even if they were their enemies in the city, she wouldn't have wanted them to be dead.

"I didn't want you...to see me in my weakened condition."? He knew deep down it wasn't weakness, but he just felt weak...helpless.? The power of a god, his father told him once, reduced to a speck of dust barely a mote.? When his sister needed him most...he wasn't there.? Her words hit him but feel flat...how could he have known?? But why didn't he see it that way.? He...he just hurt!? "Apparently there was a helicopter explosion and...and...all three...of them...were gone!"? He tried to breathe through the cannonball sized hole in his chest.? He didn't plan on going back but he still wanted to see them all from time to time.? His family...dead!? Just thinking the word made it difficult to breathe.? "All of them save h...Brandon are dead.? He was going to investigate, but I don't know..anymore."? He took another swig.
