If Mikayla hadn¡¯t been so worried about him, she would have remembered her own dream. But she was. He had scared her last night. Not because she thought he would hurt her but because she was worried he would hurt himself. ¡°Nice dreams are wonderful. They make sleep more pleasant,¡± she said swallowing a yawn.
¡°Oh,¡± she said feeling a little silly. ¡°I didn¡¯t know.¡± She said but when he said hunt, a worry came to her eyes. ¡°Hunt...you mean like wild life...not people?¡± She said hesitant...holding she hadn¡¯t offended him.?
(The Dragon, Angus)
The Dragon was silent for a long moment, his gaze averted.? His reptilian features made his expression difficult to read, but it seemed troubled.? "Yes, I mean wildlife," he said finally in his deep rumbling voice.? "Not people.? At least, not today."? Turning back to Mikayla, he faced her once again.? "So you need not worry.? I won't be eating you or any villagers.? Today."
The Dragon walked over to the large window that opened out on the side of the keep.? "If you would like some fresh meat, Angus will prepare some for you when I return.? Sheep or cow, most likely.? Or possibly goat."? His eyes seem to roll a bit as he added "Not human."? Then he launched himself out into the daylight, his huge wings flapping hard once he reached the open air, until he soon disappeared into the distance.
