Sam had been so lost in her thoughts she blinked when Jaimie spoke. ¡°Pardon?¡± She said then shook her head. ¡°Im sorry, I¡¯m being rude. Walking is fine¡° she said. Although she didn¡¯t really hear him. Her mind was lost to what...just happened.?
So she arrived at the Castle. It was dark now and she wanted a hot bath. ¡°Thank you Jaimie,¡± she said turning to move up stairs. Closing the door she stripped off her clothing and walked into the shower. ?
Up in the tower, she watched it happen all over again. The first time she did nothing. This time she would make them pay.

The lady seemed distracted, so Jaimie just walked silently behind her, leading the horse, until she was safely back within the walls of the castle.? "Guid eve tae ye, mistress," he bid before she went in. He then led the horse back to the stable where he unsaddled her and brushed her down, frowning to himself.? He had felt the ill-meant gaze focused on them from the tower window, but nothing had happened.? He hoped things would stay that way, but in his heart the young ghost knew that was a faint hope.

She found the interloper in the lower room, starting to wash herself under the strange plumbing that had been added some decades ago in the distant past.? All she could feel was an icy hatred, and she let those feeling fill the room, a chilling cold that extended from the stone walls and then to the water itself, rapidly turning it from a pleasant hot to a freezing spray that stung the skin where it hit.? "Let that dampen yer ardor. And yer thieving heart as well!" a voice hissed, seeming to come from the walls of the room.
