(Anais)
Anais sighed when he appeared before her. At this point she was standing barefoot in the night, gooseflesh on her arms apparent. She wasn¡¯t surprised he decided to encroach upon her personal space. He was the mighty Lord Draven Philips, after all.
At his words she said ¡°you see that¡¯s the thing about intentions, Draven. They really don¡¯t matter.??You see unless you are stone cold bastards, it is usually never really anyone¡¯s intentional too hurt anyone. Too often the hurt feelings cause by the unintentional is because of carelessness or thoughtlessness.?
"Sometimes even, maybe someone think they are doing what they think is in the person¡®s best interest, or trying to protect them. But it doesn¡¯t change the fact that the hurt is real."
"The hurt I feel is real, Draven. And I know all of you want to apologize it way so that you can all move on and put this behind you. But the hurt I feel is real. Learning it wasn¡¯t intentional doesn¡¯t make it go away.?In fact it makes it worst. Because it means you all thought that little of me or my feelings that you all just went with it.?
¡°People who I thought I could trust just went with it...even long after my father was a dead. The man I was falling in love with...just went with it then forgot. Like it wasn¡¯t important. And not only did he forget he just threw it out there all nonchalantly like that¡¯s supposed to make it better that learning the man I love just forgot something as important as my parentage heritage. When you knew how important it was to me to learn all there was to learn about my mother. That was the one thing you never brought up...that she was Were.?
¡°So you see you Draven, you telling me you didn¡¯t intend to hurt me doesn¡¯t make the hurt any less. And the fact that you are all acting so cavalier about this actually twist the knife even deeper. You know what. I just wanna be left alone...as a matter fact I just want to leave. I¡¯m leaving please don¡¯t follow.¡± She said stepping around him.
(Draven)
Draven listened to everything that Anais said and he could see and feel the hurt. She was very correct in everything that she said.? He also saw that she was cold and barefoot.?
Then he watched her try and walk around him, "nope." He scooped her up into his arms. "You are not leaving barefoot and not dressed for the cool air.? Now, we can return to the mansion, or we can go somewhere else, but I am not letting you just leave.? Now, where am I taking you?"
