开云体育Hi Graham ?I have just found out that my Cluderay family goes back to the 1600 in Pannal. Spacey's were part of it. Sent from my Bell Samsung device over Canada's largest network. -------- Original message -------- From: Graeme Bentley <graeme.t.bentley@...> Date: 2020-01-12 11:25 p.m. (GMT-08:00) To: "YorksGen groups.io" <[email protected]> Subject: [yorksgen] #SURNAMES BENTLEY WILKS KNOWLES BARKER SPIRITT/SPEARITT/SPURRET #PLACES PANNAL 1600-1900 From Stavely in the north, to Bardsey and Leeds in the south, from Harrogate and Beckwithshaw in the west, to Cowthorpe in the east, roughly centered on Pannal. I have my line of BENTLEYs back to 1775 in Pannal, though there appear to be 3 or 4 lines of BENTLEYs in the PANNAL area from the late 16thC. One of those BENTLEY descendants occupied Pannal Hall and were Lay Rectors of St.Roberts church in Pannal. Re: POCKLINGTON

Andy, do you know where I could find -on line- any of Watson's maps of Seaton Ross? In particular I'd like to find something showing who lived across the road from the Black Horse Inn around 1800ish. It's possible my Walker or Harper branch was there. I also have an interest in East Cottingwith. Toni in Iowa ? epistemophiliac "Eh-pis-tuh-mu-fill-e-ack" means obsessed with a desire of knowledge

Re: WILSON West Leeds 1800 to 1900
Judy Schor
Hi Wilson descendants,
My William WILSON comes from Scotland (maybe) and died aft 1794. He married Esther (--?--) and they had James WILSON, my 4th great grandfather, who was born 7 Feb 1781 in Leeds and died 29 Jun 1865 in Peru, Clinton, NY, USA. James married Elizabeth BURROW, born 14 Nov 1787 in Roundhay, Yorks, died 19 Apr 1825 in Peru, NY, USA. They had eight children, the second of whom is my 3rd great grandmother, Sarah WILSON, born 22 Jan 1811 in Leeds, died 21 Nov 1874 in Plattsburgh, Clinton, NY, USA. Sarah married 1828/29 in (Peru), Clinton Co., NY, Lyman BRIDGES.
I would love to hear from anyone who is related to these folks. I have lots of info on them.
