thank you very much...good to know...It runs pretty good but you would have to replace either the worm or the worm gear to convert it to DCC...both are metal.? Even then the clearances between the engine and frame are so tight you would risk shorting.? I don't think I can isolate the brushes like you can with
Bowser.?

Got this at a train show.? Looks like an old Mantua but the motor is vertically mounted with the worm protruding
from the bottom (see pictures).? Hoseeker shows Pittman type motors in the Mantua "goats"??????
